"Codex Regenesis" Lino Cut: George's Paper
The illustrations for the book “Codex Regenesis” are all handmade linoleum prints that were printed on a Vandercook printing press. They are all two-color reduction prints, a process that destroys the block they are made from—meaning that they will never (and can never) be printed again. Each page was printed between 25 and 125 times, so once the edition is sold out, they are sold out forever! This is the actual print run used to create the book “Codex Regenesis”; prints from these editions were scanned and used in the final mass-market book.
This print depicts the dark marbled paper that George cuts his figure out of. The print is 7.125” x 9.125”. Ships in a clear plastic sleeve and a rigid cardboard mailer.
Note: While your print will look nearly identical to the photo in this listing, handmade prints sometimes contain minor imperfections. That adds character, right?
